"MY WALK WITH GOD / I AM A SINNER PART TWO" AUDIO BLOG
(or read only below)
First, let me say that I am a sinner. I have been a sinner my entire life. We are all imperfect, made perfect through the blood and sacrifice of God's only begotten son, Jesus Christ, the Messiah.
Now, people don't realize what talents or gifts God has given them until they walk with Him on a daily basis. When you look around the world, you see people everywhere, who have great passion for one thing or another: God, human rights, social justice, police brutality, etc. I often wondered, what am I missing in life that I have no passion for anything? I mean, I cared about these things, but nothing or no one (I thought) pushed me to do anything about them.
Then, one day a few years back, God made it clear to me that I was going to have a great passion, also. I WAS given a talent, but I didn't realize it was a talent, and I wasted my whole life running from God and not utilizing my talent productively. It was something I knew I had, but, without direction, it wasn't really a character trait to be praised or cherished.
What is my talent? Well, it's just this: When I believe in something with all my heart, I am a fierce WARRIOR for the cause. I've always known I was a warrior, but mostly I was just a "warrior without a cause," and I had the same mindset as most people: What can one person do? And, more importantly, what did I possibly care enough about to be a warrior for?
Well, God is ironic. Most of my life, I can remember saying to anyone who would listen, I don't like children. Of course, I now realize that I didn't like "disobedient" children, but that's beside the point. God has an ironic sense of humor, because He told me, in no uncertain terms, you are going to fight for the children. I didn’t know what to think.
I didn't really get specific instructions from Him, only to "Help the children," so I started fighting to bring children to God through videos, but God had different plans for me. Bringing children to God is more of a flowery job that requires an even temperament, which doesn't really describe a "warrior," so God said, No, no, no, I have something WAY more heinous for you to tackle. You are going to be a warrior for the unborn babies being sacrificed. So, here am I, A Voice for Those With No Choice. Abortion is an abomination unto the Lord.
Man, when God talks, you better listen! Is he trying to talk to you? Are you listening? What is your talent or gift for God?
Romans Chapter 12
6 "Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, [let us prophesy] according to the proportion of faith;
7 Or ministry, [let us wait] on [our] ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;
8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, [let him do it] with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness."
So, pray fervently, read the Bible, talk to God every day, and YOUR talent(s) will be revealed, and He will show you His Plan and His path for you!
I pray He touches your heart and shines His light on your life.
Hallelujah! Praise God! Amen!
Faithful and humble servant of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and the 40 to 50 million unborn babies murdered every year worldwide. "These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: . . . hands that shed innocent blood . . ." Proverbs 16:16-19
